(CTN News) – Beginning July 1 and ending December 31 of this year, Thai citizens who apply for an e-tourist visa to India will be excused from paying the visa cost for thirty days.
According to a statement released by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indian government will waive the charge for obtaining an e-tourist visa for those with regular Thai passports to encourage tourism.
Thai visitors are permitted to visit India for up to 30 days
Under this program, Thai visitors can visit India for up to thirty days and can enter twice without paying any visa costs.
According to the ministry, applicants for e-tourist visas must submit their applications in advance at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.
Malaysians will be eligible for a fee-free e-tourist visa for one year, beginning on July 1, 2024, and ending on June 30, 2025, according to an announcement made by the High Commission of India in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. The visa will be valid for thirty days and allow for multiple entrances.
