(CTN News) – A fashion model, allegedly slain by her partner in Thailand after a spell in Hong Kong, was represented by the same agency as several well-known personalities, including Gaile Lok and Danielle Graham.
Gwendoline Cretton, a 24-year-old Swiss passport holder, was killed at her home in Bangkok’s Prawet neighborhood on Thursday night last week, according to Thai media reports.
She was allegedly stabbed nine times to death, and three men — the suspect and two neighbors who attempted to assist the man who cried for help — dragged her body to a car.
According to Thai media, her husband, whose name was withheld, drove her to the hospital and later told Thai authorities that she had attempted suicide. Police assumed that the man’s activities were designed to conceal a murder.
Gwendoline Cretton: A Model with Hong Kong Connections
CalCarries International Management confirmed to the South China Morning Post that a model with the deceased’s name, looks, and age had worked for the company until her contract expired in 2024.
The company stated on Wednesday that it could not reach the model for confirmation since she no longer worked for them.
The agency represented a number of well-known models, including Gaile Lok, Danielle Graham, and Kathy Chow Man-kei.
Cretton’s most recent photo session with the agency was for an Italian fashion business, and the images were released on social media in late January.
Cretton’s social media posts also revealed that she was actively working with several make-up artists on photo assignments.
Some of her modeling images date back as early as 2018.
Cretton also had a YouTube channel, which she reportedly used to broadcast videos of herself modelling. On Wednesday, the Post checked the channel and found no programming.
The channel also showed Cretton’s other name, “Gwen Sun”.
East West Models, a Frankfurt, Germany-based agency, also included her biography and images.
The Post has contacted both the Swiss embassy in Bangkok and the consulate in Hong Kong for comment.
Hong Kong’s Immigration Department stated that it has received no requests for assistance with the matter.
