(CTN News) – The Amazing Beach Life Festival is being organised by Thailand’s Tourism Authority (TAT) in partnership with Phang Nga Province. This event, held in Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach) on July 26-28, 2024, mixes music, art, and beach sports under the theme “Beach Rhythms”.
The festival’s goal is to provide a unique travel experience in a beach life setting, attracting travelers who appreciate beach vibes and promoting year-round tourism in Thailand.
TAT continues to promote tourism during the green season with the second Amazing Beach Life Festival in Phang Nga, which will take place on July 26-28, 2024, at Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach), with the theme “Beach Rhythms.”
Beach Sports and Activities in Phang Nga
The event provides a fun party environment and the joy of the Andaman Sea. Phang Nga is a popular destination for Thai and international tourists, particularly those who enjoy beach activities.
Phang Nga is poised to provide an unforgettable experience, thanks to its numerous tourism activities, natural abundance, and willingness to welcome visitors. TAT also promotes sustainability by minimizing the event’s environmental impact, with the goal of attracting quality tourists, distributing cash to local companies and communities, and promoting year-round travel in Thailand.
At the Amazing Beach Life Festival in Phang Nga, the area surrounding Pakarang Beach (Memory Beach) will be turned into a dynamic event venue full with fun and entertainment.
Attendees can listen to beachfront music with the rhythm of the waves, featuring performances from prominent artists and a variety of DJs that will keep the crowd dancing. On July 26, 2024, Aeh Jirakorn and MAIYARAP will perform, followed by Earth Patravee and WIM on July 27, and Whal & Dolph and Purpeech on July 28.
Prepare for exciting beach activities, including expert-guided Surf Boarding, which will be offered all three days. Photographing the bright 7-metre gigantic octopus installation art and inflatable landmark is a must-see.
Attendees can also show off their artistic abilities with colorful beach-style tattoos and take part in DIY workshops to produce unique handmade art, such as painting charming fans to take home as souvenirs. The festival will include local product vendors, food and drink zones, and Ripcurl Thailand beach fashion booths. Thailand Tourism Awards winners will also be there to demonstrate their offerings.
Furthermore, the Sustainable Zone by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) will educate participants on effective waste separation through the “GC YOUturn” campaign. Visitors can also participate in the Amazing Experience of turning plastic bottle caps into bracelets as a free DIY activity.
The Amazing Beach Life Festival will also take place in two other locations: Phuket (Neon Waves) from August 2-4, 2024, at Patong Beach, and Songkhla (Art Paradise) from August 9-11, 2024, at Chalatat Beach.
