(CTN News) – The Thai Ministry of Industry has established a collaboration with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM) and Thailand Post to improve logistics and distribution for community entrepreneurs.
Pimpatra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry, stated that the alliance intends to improve product quality and packaging to ensure durability throughout transportation. This project will increase online sales through “ThaiPostMart” and offline sales at over 50,000 sites countrywide.
The alliance also encourages waste management by encouraging postal offices to serve as recycling collection stations, supporting the Green Hub project and the circular economy. The alliance is estimated to create more than 200 million baht in market prospects for SMEs and community enterprises.

Thailand Post will provide logistical assistance and sales via its broad network, which includes storage, sales channels, order receiving, and packaging services. From now until the end of the year, DIPROM members can get a 50% discount on shipping.
Danan Suphattraphan, President of Thailand Post, and Phasakorn Chairat, Director-General of DIPROM, stressed the goal of helping Thai businesses adapt to global developments and increase their sustainability through integrated support and new packaging solutions.
