(CTN News) – The popular Korean YouTubers ‘Cullen and Jung HateBerry’ visited Panyee Island, which is located in Phang Nga Province, which is located in southern Thailand. This caused anger to spread over Thai social media.

The bracelet cost 300 Baht, and the mother-of-pearl necklace cost 500 Baht, bringing the total to 800 Baht. They discovered this information when they were shopping at a gift store.

Thai Netizens rage over dual pricing for Youtubers

The vendor responded to a request for a cheaper price by stating that they would add one more item for a total of one thousand Baht. It was brought to the attention of internet users that the prices were far too excessive, especially for a tourist attraction.

The following is a statement made by a member of the internet community: “I want to send a message to the vendors on the island: Foreign tourists come here to travel and enjoy themselves.”

Please try not to take advantage of them to an excessive degree. It would be detrimental to your business if visitors stopped arriving. Maintain a moderate attitude.”

In addition, the film demonstrated occasions in which the two individuals were subjected to dual pricing, such as a brief boat journey to the island that cost one thousand Baht.

This is not the first time that Thai internet users have voiced their dissatisfaction with dual pricing; this often occurs at museums, national parks, and water parks, where visitors from other countries are sometimes required to pay three times as much as Thai citizens.
