Chiang Rai United finally halted their losing streak by drawing with PT Prachuap FC after dropping three games in a row. The match ended in a much-needed tie, offering a glimmer of hope for fans.

Chiang Rai United’s defense held strong, bouncing back from past struggles to keep Prachuap from taking the lead.

The team showed renewed energy, hinting at a possible turnaround in upcoming matches.

It was a solid performance, and the players and supporters can rally behind it as they aim for more consistent results.

At the start of the game, Chiang Rai had a chance to score the first goal from a right corner kick. Setthasit Suwannasat crossed the ball and almost hit under the second post, but Chatchai Bootprom, PT Prachuap’s goalkeeper, was able to block it away.

At 23 minutes, Wander Luiz tried a long shot, but the ball did not go into the frame. Chiang Rai got onto the scoreboard first when Shinawatra Prachuapmon scored a goal to lead 1-0.

There were no more goals in the remaining time. The first half ended with Singha Chiang Rai United leading PT Prachuap FC 1-0.

Starting in the second half at 51 minutes, PT Prachuap almost equalized when Barros Tardelli headed the ball, but Apirak Worawong saved it with his fingertips.

Unfortunately, at 73 minutes, Singha Chiang Rai missed a goal to lead when Win Niang Tun caught the ball in the penalty area. The ball went off by itself and missed the chance to shoot.

At 80 minutes, PT Prachuap had luck and tied the game 1-1 after Victor Oliveira, a player for Singha Chiang Rai, made a mistake.

Late in the game, Woo Geun-young of PT Prachuap collided with Machado, but he could continue playing. There were no more goals in the remaining time.

The game ended with Singha Chiang Rai drawing 1-1 at home, causing them to not win any of their 4 consecutive games, drawing 1 and losing 3 matches, moving them from second to last place to 14th place.

As for PT Prachuap FC, they are in 5th place on the table.
